WELCOME TO OUR SITE

Hinckley District Scout Council is the local agent for the UK Scout Association in the Hinckley area and is controlled through the Leicestershire Scout Council operating out of Blaby, near Leicester.

The District has premises in Burbage and Kirkby Mallory. The Burbage HQ is situated off Britannia Road and serves as both the base for Burbage Scout Group and as a facility that can be hired for private functions and activities. Kirkby Mallory is the base for our Campsite, a lovely wooded site benefiting from a recent refurbish and investment programme. The District also runs a Gang Show every other year and our next show will be held at the Concordia Theatre, Hinckley from Thursday 12th April to Saturday 14th April 2012. For further information follow the link opposite.

The Hinckley District covers an area that includes not just Hinckley but also Barwell, Burbage, Stoke Golding, Sapcote and Stoney Stanton and there are currently 13 active groups with nearly 1000 registered Scouts and Leaders.
